Waltheof Leisure Trust is a newly founded organisation that began operations on January 4th 2005. The trust employs a programme manager, two volunteer co-ordinators – one to cover the Darnall area and one to cover the Manor area, and a sports development officer.

The trust’s objective is to give people in the two areas activities and opportunities to increase learning experiences, community involvement and improve quality of life. The trust will work with the community in programme planning through consultation, discussion and focus groups to find out the activities and opportunities needed and wanted by the residents in order to deliver a quality service.
